SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: 2026 Awards

Important:

Before submitting, please ensure your book meets all of the following criteria:

Books must be available in EPUB or PDF formats
Books should be available for purchase on:
- kobo.com
- indigo.com
- amazon.ca
Books should also be available for lending through libraries and for purchase from independent bookstores.
You must own the copyright to both the book and its cover.
Books must be published between 2020 – 2026.
Books must meet the award category criteria (please review carefully before submitting).
If your EPUB file exceeds the upload size limit, submit a placeholder file and email your EPUB directly to marketing@thecanadianbookclubawards.ca

All submissions are read by our Book Club Members, who review every eligible title within their assigned category. From these submissions, they select the top three finalists per category.
Submissions must be available in EPUB or PDF formats for judging.
Once finalists are selected:
- A press release is issued.
- Finalists are announced to our community.
- CBCA Finalist Judges are provided links to purchase the finalists’ titles to read and vote in their chosen category.

All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
