February 11, 2026: Submissions Open
Authors can officially submit their books to the 2026 Canadian Book Club Awards.

February 11 – October 31, 2026: Book Club Reading Season
CBCA Book Club Members receive free books in their selected category, read submissions throughout the season, and help determine the three finalists in each category.

October 9, 2026: Submission Deadline
Final day for authors to enter the 2026 Canadian Book Club Awards.

Second Week of November 2026: Finalists Announced
The top three books in every category are revealed based on votes from CBCA Book Club Members.

November 2026 – January 31, 2027: Finalist Judging
CBCA Finalist Judges purchase or borrow the finalist books in their chosen category and vote for the winner.

Second Week of February 2027: Winners Announced
The winners of the 2026 Canadian Book Club Awards are revealed.
